Diagnosis

Distinctive species endemic to Angola that may potentially overlap only with M. camerunica, male is separated from other species of genus by combination of (1) both labium and labrum pale with central black marking; (2) upperside of thorax and abdomen pruinose with maturity; (3) antehumeral stripe reduced to 3 pale spots; (4) sides of thorax pale, with irregular black lines; (5) Fw triangle and subtriangle of 2 cells; (6) 9-12 Fw Ax; (7) anal loop of 10-15 cells.

Habitat description

Not known well, but streams possibly mostly in open areas in forest or shaded by gallery forest. Probably often with rocks. From 1100 to 1700 m above sea level.
