Diagnosis

The only species currently recognised in this genus. Please refer to the genus diagnosis and introduction for more information.

Habitat description

Streams shaded by forest. Usually with coarse detritus and often overhanging branches and submerged roots. From 400 to 2200 m above sea level, but possibly down to sea level.

Distribution

confirmed: Angola; Cameroon; Democratic Republic of the Congo; Nigeria; Rwanda; Tanzania; Uganda; Zambia
